Whitehorses Restaurant

While in Ardmore, we went for dinner in the Whitehorses Restaurant. Ardmore was extremely quite all weekend, most likely due to the foggy weather. However, The Whitehorses Restaurant clearly does not have to rely on the weather to bring the crowds into the restaurant. This was not surprising due to the 2013 awards on the wall outside.

In the summer it opens for lunch and dinner but once winter comes it focuses just on evenings.

It is on the pricey side however the quality of the food is second to none. I would definitely go there for an occasion again, like this weekend celebrating my sister's birthday.

The restaurant had two sittings, and we were booked in for the late sitting, around 8.30p.m. We were guided to a sit down area while we waited for our table and there was also outside seating. The restaurant was very rustic and unique.

There was a lot to choose from, I decided I would get as a starter, Chicken Liver Pate, followed by Lobster Thermidor and then for desert a chocolate mud pie. Each course was without fault and tasted amazing!
